For my book, for the two images at the top, i took a little inspiration from a previous art piece i had made back in VAT awhile ago in which we had to make a background, a circle and a triangle out of three images. I had enough room on one side so i decided to flip it and use my marbling. I tired to keep a little bit of each other in each side, the blues, greens and grey.
For the other side i saw food while looking through magazines that sort of had the same themes so i cut them out and put some funny text over it. And for the lines, i wanted to make the viewers eye move so i cut the pictures into slips and glued them down from dark to light. I used whatever i found pleasing to the eye, like a big overview of an ocean with a white plane flying above the ocean, or a dark blue house with red lights and a light blue sky.

This week we worked with black squares. It was a decently easy project. I liked to work with 4 different designs; Bold, Tension, Playful, and Order. At first, I didn't know how to make the tension. I shared my Bold design, because it was the best looking one. The feedback I got for the bold, was to make the outline thinner as it went towards the middle. This week we used abode spark to create designs for the up coming art show at the dull mansion. The sort of theme of what we had to create was; art, creativity or something to do with spark. Adobe spark is easy and a great free website to use. It may have a lot of limitations, but if you don't have money for adobe Photoshop or illustrator or many of the great products they sell, spark is a excellent replacement.
For my design, which is located in the "My Work" tab, i used a picture of a sparkler to relate to Spark. I like what i created because the background is a greyish-blue and i made the letter a bright orange, which both compliments and makes the orange pop out. This week we go on adobe illustrator and started our line projects. It was easy, figuring out where and how far apart i should put the lines was difficult. Something new i learned was, i learned how to make guides and lock them.
